Barefoot Gen 2 - 1986

Barefoot Gen 2 berlaku pada tahun 1948, kira-kira tiga tahun selepas berakhirnya filem asal, Gen, ibunya, dan adik angkatnya Ryuta cuba untuk bertahan Hiroshima, seperti yang lain daripada Jepun, perjuangan untuk membina semula berikutan pemusnahan bencana Perang Dunia Kedua.
Walaupun filem pertama memberi tumpuan kepada kesan segera pengeboman atom Hiroshima, filem kedua memberi tumpuan kepada masalah jangka panjang yang dihadapi yang terselamat, termasuk ekonomi hancur dan infrastruktur, kekurangan makanan, pengangguran, kekurangan perumahan, dan berpanjangan kesan radioaktif bom atom itu.
Tiga tahun selepas perang, kebanyakan Hiroshima masih dalam keadaan musnah. Gen dan Ryuta sekolah ini ditempatkan di bangunan separuh rosak oleh kerosakan bom, di mana guru dilihat menjelaskan prinsip-prinsip perlembagaan baru Jepun. Masih di bawah pendudukan tentera Amerika (yang jelas mewakili Gen), ekonomi Jepun mula pulih, tetapi ramai orang yang masih tidak mampu walaupun keperluan asas kehidupan. Gen dan perjuangan keluarganya untuk terus hidup, dan manakala ibunya mendapat pekerjaan di sebuah kilang bata-bangunan, ia adalah hampir tidak cukup untuk menampung keperluan asas mereka. Terdapat juga beberapa kumpulan-kumpulan anak-anak yatim setinggan dalam runtuhan daripada pergi ke sekolah. Pada mulanya, hubungan dengan mereka adalah permusuhan, tetapi Gen segera sedar bahawa mereka mempunyai tempat lain untuk pergi dan adalah seperti terdesak kerana dia, menarik sebuah persahabatan dengan mereka. Dalam masa yang lebih ringan dalam filem itu, Gen dan anak-anak tersandung apabila pelbagai tembakan lama ketenteraan di mana peluru telah dibuang pada akhir perang. Pemimpin kumpulan menyedari mereka boleh menjual peluru lama untuk besi buruk, dan seluruh kumpulan mula mengisi wheelbarrows dengan sarung peluru dibelanjakan, menyanyi kerana mereka bekerja.

Barefoot Gen - 1983

Barefoot Gen Adalah sebuah drama perang anime berdasarkan siri manga Jepun oleh Keiji Nakazawa. Diarahkan oleh Mori Masaki dan dibebaskan pada tahun 1983, ia menggambarkan Perang Dunia II di Jepun dari sudut kanak-kanak berpendapat pusingan sekitar peristiwa-peristiwa sekitar pengeboman Hiroshima dan tangan pertama watak utama.

Cerita ini bermula pada 4 Ogos, 1945, di Hiroshima dengan kehidupan sehari-hari Gen Nakaoka, adiknya Shinji, Daikichi mereka bapa, kakak Eiko, dan Kimie ibu mengandung, semasa hari-hari terakhir Perang Dunia II.Permulaan plot memberi tumpuan kepada perjuangan keluarga Nakaoka untuk hidup sebagai kekurangan makanan dan barang-barang lain terus memburukkan lagi di seluruh Jepun. Seperti penduduk lain, keluarga tertanya-tanya mengapa

Hiroshima setakat ini mengalami hampir tiada kerosakan, kerana armada besar Amerika B-29 pengebom Superfortress telah musnah hampir semua bandar-bandar utama yang lain di Jepun.

Pada waktu malam, keluarga itu dikejutkan oleh semboyan serangan udara dan berlindung di tempat perlindungan bom mereka, tetapi tidak lama lagi menjadi jelas bahawa ini adalah satu lagi penggera palsu. Dalam salah satu pengalaman pahit, Gen bapa Daikichi lagi soalan mengapa begitu banyak pesawat Amerika sentiasa terbang ke atas Hiroshima tanpa menjatuhkan mana-mana bom, dan menyatakan rasa takut bahawa Hiroshima telah sengaja dipelihara dan dikaji untuk tujuan yang unik dan dahsyat.......

Fist of the North Star - 1986

Fist of the North Star (劇場版 世紀末救世主伝説 北斗の拳 Gekijōban Seikimatsu Kyūseishu Densetsu Hokuto no Ken^?, Fist of the North Star Theatrical Version: Legend of the Century's End Savior) is a 1986 Japanese animated film adaptation of the manga series of the same name. It was produced by Toei Animation, the same studio who worked on the TV series that was airing at the time, with the same cast and crew working on both projects. The film adapts the storyline of the manga from the beginning of the series up until Kenshiro's first match with his rival and elder brother Raoh, with many liberties taken with the order of events and how the story unfolds (including the roles of several characters). However, the film retains the more violent content of the original manga, which the television series lacked.

In "199X," civilization was ruined as a result of a worldwide nuclear war and many creatures died out. In spite of these events, mankind survived and entered an age where the strong ruled over the weak, as the few survivors fought over whatever supply of food and uncontaminated water remained in the wasteland of the world.

Kenshiro, the rightful successor to the ancient assassination art of Hokuto Shinken, wanders into a village in search of water when he is caught in a trap and imprisoned by the local defense force. In prison, he befriends a young orphaned girl named Lin who nursed him back to health. When the village is attacked by a biker gang and Lin is taken hostage by their leader, Ken breaks free from his cell and rescues Lin by defeating the leader with his deadly martial art technique. Kenshiro leaves the village and continues his journey, now accompanied by a young thief named Bat.

He becomes involved against the KING organization after witnessing the many atrocities they've committed. As he infiltrates the gang's stronghold in the city of Southern Cross, he finds out that the leader of KING is his old nemesis, the Nanto Seiken master Shin, the man who engraved the seven scars on Kenshiro's chest and kidnapped his fiancee Yuria. Kenshiro emerges victorious in his rematch with Shin, only to find out that Yuria is no longer with Shin....

Barbie and the Rockers Out of This World - 1987

Barbie and the Rockers: Out of this World is a 1987 TV special created by DIC Entertainment with Saban Productions featuring popular Mattel character Barbie. The story was based upon the Barbie and the Rockers line of dolls, which featured Barbie as the leader of a rock band. The special originally aired in syndication as a two-part TV "mini-series" with each installment lasting approximately 25 minutes; part two was entitled "Barbie and the Sensations: Rockin' Back to Earth". The two-part special was later released on video as a single movie by Hi-Tops Video.

 

After Barbie and the Rockers have finished their record-breaking world tour, interviewers are interested to know what Barbie will do next. She says she has something "extra special" planned. The band goes to stay at a hotel and also ask Barbie what they are going to do next, but Barbie doesn't tell them either. She does say that everything will be fine and they all dance to one of their songs.
After dancing all night, Barbie greets a postman in the morning. He gives her an invitation to a ball to honor her as the first ambassador for world peace. Barbie decides to take Ken as her date and they all help Barbie decide on what to wear. When she is ready, she and Ken go to the ball and she finally reveals what the band will be doing next: They will be doing the first concert ever performed in outer space. Everyone in the audience is impressed but when Barbie tells the band they need to be convinced. They all agree on the idea and have to quickly prepare everything.
When everything is organized, the band goes into space and view the stars and planets. After having fun on the ship, they reach the Interstar Amphitheater, where they will be performing. They are greeted by Dr. Leonard and are surprised that they have an audience up in space. The band go to get and go with Dr. Leonard to see their stage. As the band are about to go on worldwide TV live, and it is air time, the band runs to the stage. Barbie tells everyone that the concert is to mark the first day of world peace everywhere and plays a new song she wrote specially for the concert.
