Super Mario Bros. is a 1993 American science fiction fantasy adventure comedy film directed by Rocky Morton and Annabel Jankel. A loose live-action adaptation of the 1985 Nintendo video game of the same name, the film stars Bob Hoskins, John Leguizamo, Dennis Hopper and Samantha Mathis. It tells the story of the Mario brothers, Mario and Luigi, as they find a parallel universe, where King Koopa is a dictator. They have to rescue Princess Daisy and stop Koopa from attempting to merge the dimensions so that he could become a dictator of both worlds.
Super Mario Bros. was released on May 28, 1993 in the United States. Though a critical and financial failure, the film was nominated for two Saturn Awards (one for Best Costume, the other for Best Make-up).

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The Movie 1990

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a 1990 American live-action film adaptation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise directed by Steve Barron. The film was followed by three sequels: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze in 1991, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III in 1993, and TMNT in 2007. This film presents the origin story of Splinter and the Turtles, the initial meeting between them, April O'Neil and Casey Jones, and their first confrontation with The Shredder and his Foot Clan. The film is distributed by New Line Cinema and outside the United States is internationally distributed by Golden Harvest.

When the New York City Police Department is unable to stop a severe crime wave caused by the Foot Clan, four vigilantes — Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Donatello and Raphael — come forth to save the city. Under the leadership of Splinter and together with their new-found allies April O'Neil and Casey Jones, they fight back and take the battle to The Shredder. The film kept very close to the dark feel of the original comics, and is a direct adaptation of the comicbook storyline involving the defeat of Shredder, with several elements also taken from the animated series that was airing at the time, such as April being a news reporter, and the turtles having different-colored masks, as opposed to the uniform red masks of the comic. The film was the highest-grossing independent film of all time when it was released, and became the ninth highest grossing film worldwide of 1990 and the most successful film in the franchise.

Die Hard is a 1988 American action film directed by John McTiernan and written by Steve de Souza and Jeb Stuart. It is an adaptation of the 1979 bestselling novel Nothing Lasts Forever by Roderick Thorp following off-duty New York City Police Department officer John McClane (Bruce Willis) as he takes on a group of highly organized criminals in a Los Angeles skyscraper led by Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), who perform a heist under the guise of a terrorist attack using hostages, including McClane's wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia), to keep the police at bay.


 NYPD detective John McClane arrives in Los Angeles to reconcile with his estranged wife, Holly. Limo driver Argyle drives McClane to her company headquarters, the Nakatomi Plaza building, for their Christmas party. While McClane retreats to the bathroom to freshen up after his plane trip, heavily armed terrorists take the celebrants hostage. German Hans Gruber leads twelve others: Karl, Franco, Tony, Theo, Alexander, Marco, Kristoff, Eddie, Uli, Heinrich, Fritz and James. McClane slips away, in undershirt and bare feet, armed only with his service pistol.

Gruber singles out Nakatomi executive Joseph Takagi, claiming he will teach the corporation a lesson against greed. Away from the hostages, Gruber interrogates Takagi for the computer code to access the building vault. Gruber admits that terrorism is a cover story for stealing $640 million in bearer bonds from the vault. Takagi refuses to cooperate and is executed while McClane secretly observes.
McClane kills Karl's brother Tony, takes his weapon and uses his radio to contact the LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department), who send Sgt. Al Powell to investigate, while Hans sends two men to stop McClane. McClane kills Heinrich and Marco, taking a bag of C-4 explosives and detonators. Gruber sends Eddie, who is dressed as a building security guard to meet Powell, who leaves satisfied until McClane drops Marco's corpse from an upper window onto his patrol car. This alerts the terrorists, who fire on the car as Powell drives away in reverse. Powell alerts LAPD, who quickly arrive and surround the building.

Judge Dredd - 1995 (Starring Sylvester Stallone)

Judge Dredd is a 1995 American science fiction action film directed by Danny Cannon, and starring Sylvester Stallone, Diane Lane, Rob Schneider, Armand Assante, and Max von Sydow. The film is based on the strip of the same name in the British comic 2000 AD. It was a critical and commercial disappointment.


In the 3rd millennium, much of Earth has become an uninhabitable wasteland. The majority of humanity resides in huge Mega-Cities, where the traditional justice system has been replaced by a corps of Judges whose role combines those of police officer, judge, jury, and executioner. The most dedicated "Street Judge" in Mega-City One is Joseph Dredd (Sylvester Stallone), who assists Judge Hershey (Diane Lane) in ending a block war. Herman Ferguson (Rob Schneider), a hacker recently released from prison, is caught in the firefight and hides inside a food dispensing robot, only to be arrested by Dredd and sentenced to five years' imprisonment for tampering with city property.

Rico (Armand Assante), a former Judge turned psychopathic murderer, escapes from prison and reclaims his Judge's uniform and "Lawgiver" gun as well as a decommissioned combat robot. A news reporter (Mitch Ryan) critical of Dredd is soon murdered, and Dredd is the chief suspect. Hershey acts as Dredd's defense lawyer in a trial before a tribunal of Council Judges including Dredd's mentor Chief Judge Fargo (Max von Sydow) and Judge Griffin (Jürgen Prochnow). Dredd is found guilty based on DNA evidence: The Lawgiver encodes the DNA of the wielder onto each round fired, and the DNA from the murder weapon matches Dredd's. Fargo steps down as Chief Judge, asking as his last request that the Council spare Dredd's life. Dredd is sentenced to life imprisonment while Fargo embarks on his "long walk", a tradition in which a retiring Judge ventures into the "Cursed Earth" wasteland "to bring law to the lawless". Griffin, who freed Rico and had him frame Dredd for the murder, succeeds Fargo as Chief Judge and instructs Rico to sow chaos throughout the city.

Platoon - 1986 (Starring Tom Berenger,Charlie Sheen & Johnny Deep)

Platoon is a 1986 American war film written and directed by Oliver Stone and stars Tom Berenger, Willem Dafoe and Charlie Sheen. It is the first of Stone's Vietnam War trilogy, followed by 1989's Born on the Fourth of July and 1993's Heaven & Earth. Stone wrote the story based upon his experiences as a U.S. infantryman in Vietnam to counter the vision of the war portrayed in John Wayne's The Green Berets.
The film won the Academy Award for Best Picture of 1986. In 1998, the American Film Institute placed Platoon at #83 in their "AFI's 100 Years... 100 Movies" poll.

In 1967, Chris Taylor (Charlie Sheen) has dropped out of college and volunteered for combat duty in Vietnam. Assigned to Bravo Company, near the Cambodian border, he is worn down by the exhausting conditions and his enthusiasm for the war wanes. One night his unit is set upon by a group of North Vietnamese Army (NVA) soldiers, who retreat after a brief gunfight. New recruit Gardner is killed while another soldier, Tex, is maimed by friendly fire from a grenade thrown by Sergeant "Red" O'Neill (John C. McGinley), with Taylor being mistakenly reprimanded by the ruthless Staff Sergeant Bob Barnes (Tom Berenger). Taylor eventually gains acceptance from a tight-knit group in his unit who socialize and use drugs in a cabin clubhouse. He finds a mentor in Sergeant Elias (Willem Dafoe) as well as the elder King (Keith David).

During one patrol, a soldier named Manny is found mutilated and tied to a post while two others, Sal and Sanderson, are killed by a booby-trap. As tension mounts, the platoon soon reaches a nearby village where a supply cache is discovered. Taylor finds a disabled young man and an elderly woman hiding in a spider hole. Taylor snaps, screaming and threatening the man but is shocked to see Bunny (Kevin Dillon) then bludgeon him to death. Barnes interrogates the village chief to determine if they have been aiding the enemy. Despite the villagers' adamant denials, Barnes shoots and kills the chief's wife due to her persistent arguing.

Barnes takes the child of the woman at gunpoint, threatening to shoot her if the villagers do not reveal information. Elias arrives, scolding Barnes and engaging in a scuffle with him over the incident. Platoon commander Lieutenant Wolfe (Mark Moses) orders the men to leave with the villagers and burn the village. As they leave, Taylor stops a group of soldiers from raping two girls.

 Upon returning to base, Captain Harris (Dale Dye) warns that if he finds out an illegal killing took place, then a court-martial would be ordered, which concerns Barnes as Elias might give a testimony. On their next patrol, the platoon is ambushed and pinned down in a firefight, in which numerous soldiers are wounded. Wolfe calls in a mortar strike on incorrect coordinates, resulting in friendly fire casualties. Elias takes Taylor and Rhah (Francesco Quinn) to intercept flanking enemy troops. Barnes orders the rest of the platoon to retreat, and goes back into the jungle to find Elias' group. Barnes finds Elias and shoots him, returning to tell the others that Elias was killed by the enemy. After they take off, a wounded Elias emerges from the jungle, running from a group of North Vietnamese soldiers. Taylor glances over at Barnes and reads the apprehension on his face as Elias dies. At the base, Taylor attempts to talk his group into retaliation when a drunken Barnes enters the room and taunts them. Taylor attacks him but is cut near his eye as a result.......

The Dungeonmaster - 1984 (Starring Blackie Lawless)

The Dungeonmaster, (originally, Ragewar: The Challenges of Excalibrate and Digital Knights), is a 1984 low-budget science fiction/fantasy film, rated PG-13, starring Jeffrey Byron, Richard Moll and Leslie Wing. The film is produced by Charles Band, and is split up into seven distinct story segments, each written and directed by a different person: Dave Allen, Charles Band, John Carl Buechler, Steven Ford, Peter Manoogian, Ted Nicolaou, and Rosemarie Turko. The film's theme was influenced by the popularity of Disney's 1982 film Tron. Principal filming began in 1983 but the film was not completed until 1984. The film features an appearance by the heavy metal band W.A.S.P.. A sequel segment was planned for the anthology Pulse Pounders, but the unfinished film was never released due to the collapse of Empire Pictures.

 Paul Bradford is a skilled computer programmer who lives with his girlfriend, Gwen, and "X-CaliBR8," a quasi-sentient personal computer that Paul programmed and which he interacts with via a neural interface. Gwen is jealous of Paul's unusually close relationship with X-CaliBR8, to whom Paul has given a female voice, and fears that their relationship will be destroyed by Paul's reliance on X-CaliBR8 for his various day-to-day activities.
One night, Paul and Gwen are both transported to a Hellish realm presided over by Mestema, an ancient, demonic sorcerer who has spent millennia seeking a worthy opponent with whom to do battle. Having long defeated his enemies with magic, Mestema has become intrigued with technology, and wishes to pit his skills against Paul's, with the winner claiming Gwen. Arming Paul with a portable version of X-CaliBR8 (which takes the form of a computerized wrist band), Mestema begins transporting Paul into a variety of scenarios in which he must defeat various opponents. Most of the challenges involve Paul using his X-CaliBR8 wristband to shoot people, monsters, and objects with laser beams.

The Green Hornet is a television show on the ABC US television network. It aired for the 1966–1967 TV season, and starred Van Williams as the Green Hornet/Britt Reid and Bruce Lee as Kato.

The Green Hornet followed the adventures of playboy and media mogul Britt Reid, owner and publisher of the Daily Sentinel. As the masked vigilante Green Hornet, Britt fought crime with the assistance of his martial-artist partner Kato and his weapons-enhanced car the Black Beauty with license plate V-194. On police records, Green Hornet is a wanted criminal when in reality Green Hornet pretends to be a criminal in order to infiltrate and battle the criminal gangs, leaving them and the incriminating evidence for the police's arrival. Britt's dual identity is known only to his secretary Lenore "Casey" Case and District Attorney Frank P. Scanlon.

The single-season series premiered September 9, 1966, and ran through July 14, 1967 lasting 26 episodes.

The character had originated as the star of a 1930s to 1950s radio series, and had previously been adapted to movie serials, comic books, and other media.

Barbie and the Rockers Out of This World - 1987

Barbie and the Rockers: Out of this World is a 1987 TV special created by DIC Entertainment with Saban Productions featuring popular Mattel character Barbie. The story was based upon the Barbie and the Rockers line of dolls, which featured Barbie as the leader of a rock band. The special originally aired in syndication as a two-part TV "mini-series" with each installment lasting approximately 25 minutes; part two was entitled "Barbie and the Sensations: Rockin' Back to Earth". The two-part special was later released on video as a single movie by Hi-Tops Video.

 

After Barbie and the Rockers have finished their record-breaking world tour, interviewers are interested to know what Barbie will do next. She says she has something "extra special" planned. The band goes to stay at a hotel and also ask Barbie what they are going to do next, but Barbie doesn't tell them either. She does say that everything will be fine and they all dance to one of their songs.
After dancing all night, Barbie greets a postman in the morning. He gives her an invitation to a ball to honor her as the first ambassador for world peace. Barbie decides to take Ken as her date and they all help Barbie decide on what to wear. When she is ready, she and Ken go to the ball and she finally reveals what the band will be doing next: They will be doing the first concert ever performed in outer space. Everyone in the audience is impressed but when Barbie tells the band they need to be convinced. They all agree on the idea and have to quickly prepare everything.
When everything is organized, the band goes into space and view the stars and planets. After having fun on the ship, they reach the Interstar Amphitheater, where they will be performing. They are greeted by Dr. Leonard and are surprised that they have an audience up in space. The band go to get and go with Dr. Leonard to see their stage. As the band are about to go on worldwide TV live, and it is air time, the band runs to the stage. Barbie tells everyone that the concert is to mark the first day of world peace everywhere and plays a new song she wrote specially for the concert.

Roadie - 1980 - Starring Meat Loaf/Alice Cooper/Blondie

Roadie adalah sebuah filem 1980 yang diarahkan oleh Alan Rudolph mengenai seorang pemandu lori yang menjadi roadie untuk batu perjalanan dan menunjukkan roll. Filem ini bintang Meat Loaf  dan menandakan peranan pertamanya membintangi filem. Terdapat juga penampilan batu perhiasan berukir oleh pemuzik seperti Roy Orbison dan Hank Williams Jr, dan peranan sokongan yang dimainkan oleh Alice Cooper dan ahli-ahli Blondie. Filem ini dibuka dengan Harmony melarikan diri dengan bersembunyi di dalam gua ketika kampungnya diserang oleh perompak. Di dalam, dia mendapati mangsa cedera bernama Anderson, yang dia jelas menghina. Akhirnya, dia bersetuju untuk melancong dengan Anderson untuk mencari makanan dan tempat tinggal. Di jalan raya, mereka ditangkap oleh pemburu hadiah dinamakan Dempster, dihantar oleh penceroboh komander Slater. Beliau hubungan Anderson untuk pokok dan menyerang Harmony selepas dia cuba untuk melarikan diri.

The Guyver - 1991

The Guyver (di Eropah sebagai Mutronics) adalah filem 1991 Amerika sains fiksyen berdasarkan siri manga Jepun dengan nama yang sama. Filem ini mengisahkan seorang lelaki muda, Sean Barker, yang menjumpai artifak asing dipanggil Unit yang berubah Barker menjadi askar asing hibrid super dipanggil Guyver ini. Barker mendapat tahu bahawa sebuah syarikat utama yang dipanggil Kronos adalah selepas Unit Guyver dan tidak lama lagi mendapati bahawa orang-orang di belakang Kronos bukan manusia selepas semua. Filem ini telah bertemu dengan campuran tindak balas negatif dari pengkritik dan peminat. Sekuel A diikuti pada tahun 1994 yang dipanggil Guyver: Dark Hero, yang telah menerima lebih baik daripada sebelumnya.

Ejen CIA Max Reed (Mark Hamill) saksi Dr Tetsu Segawa-penyelidik untuk Kronos misteri Perbadanan-dibunuh. Dr Segawa telah mencuri alat asing yang dikenali sebagai "Guyver" dari Kronos.
